Jordan at a glance.

In the sneaker world, we believe there is no such successful deal between a sports brand and a specific athlete. Nike's association with the phenomenal basketball player Michael Jordan laid the building blocks of the entire sneaker scene in 1984, and even after more than 30 years, its importance has not diminished.

The Air Jordan models in particular have been a huge success around the world. If you've been following sneaker culture for more than 10 years, you've surely noticed the waves of popularity of each model. For a few years, sneakerheads can't get enough of the Air Jordan 3 and 4, then the higher-end 10 and 11 models are back in style, and from there, especially around 2020, the classic Air Jordan 1 keeps the hype going.

While sneaker stores around the world are trying to source the most limited releases, the trend is more on the side of smaller consigment stores or larger retailers like Footlocker. Classic sneaker stores have had an increasingly limited supply of these limited sneakers in recent years, leaving the average consumer to try their luck at raffles or pay extra and buy shoes through services like Stockx or their local reseller.
