New Era at a glance.

New Era is one of the most definitive headwear brands of all time. With only a two-thousand dollar capital, founder Ehrhardt Koch founded the E.Koch Cap Company in 1920. Together with his, co-worker and 14 employees, the company produced 60,000 caps in the first year of operations.

By the 1930s, baseball took the world by storm with its popularity. New Era quickly took notice of this while Ehrhardt is now also joined by his son Harold. In 1932, New Era launched the baseball cap to capitalize on the growing trend. A contract with the Cleveland Indians in 1934 paved the way for New Era to enter the professional league.

In the 1950s, Harold Koch took over the reins for New Era as the brand continues to supply baseball caps to the majority of the big league baseball teams. The 59FIFTY cap made its debut in 1954, revolutionizing the headwear culture even more.

A couple of decades later, New Era continued to ignite its glory. By 2017, the brand is the first-ever headwear company to get an exclusive contract with the MLB, NBA, and the NFL. The popular cap brand remains on top just like always.

Whether you’re repping the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, or any other sports team, you can’t deny the fact that a New Era hat completes the sporting attire of any fan.

New Era is a must-cop, no cap.
